How it all began
No one believed that a small business with Indian bicycle parts would survive the harsh 90s. But it turned out that the city needed a hero. And already in 1992, the prefix "OOO" was solemnly added to the name Velotrade. — and we officially became adults.
The idea to design own bicycles was formed later, after traveling around Europe. Inexpensive road bicycles with a rigid fork were the main form of transport in Germany. Our first Roadster, made according to the European model in 1996, immediately became a hit. We understood what our market lacked. The main idea of Velotrade — fill an empty niche, guess the needs of our consumers. Create a product that is expected.
We were not afraid of competition when we launched the production of Formula mountain bikes in 2005 or the elite line LEON. Because the goal was to create a brand whose name will be trusted.
From the very beginning, we decided that Velotrade would be an outstanding company. We are not afraid to experiment with new brands, invest in testing and original design. We are ready to pay the best specialists and give talent a chance to develop.

Velotrade actively cooperates with Kharkiv activists to create bike paths and bike parking. Our goal is to make a quality bike affordable for every Ukrainian family.
